Farmers Market and Events

The Farmers Market is up and running, every Saturday on the Public Square from 8-12. We have several new vendors this year, and a variety of produce already. This Saturday we’ll have a pancake and sausage breakfast in conjunction with the market. On July 9th, the FOP Auxiliary will have a gravy and biscuit breakfast. Come join us! Activity Downtown

Farmers Market Vendors: Be sure to attend the mandatory meeting this Saturday, May 7th at 8:00 am at the Library. The meeting will be in the East Wing. We will be covering the Health Department rules for selling anything intended for consumption- even produce. You will be able to pick up permit applications and registration forms at this meeting.

Check out the building rehabilitations on East Washington Street! Several new business are opening downtown, including 8 on the Square, Sugar Coated Cakery, and Ball Cards Unlimited. Other recent expansions include Elegant L Formalwear, and Panzarotti’s Italian Restaurant.
